Knobs, Levers & Locks

Kwikset (USA): This brand is most common in the USA. We can get these without issues.

Weiser AKA Weiser Lock (Canada): This brand is most common in Canada. This requires us to cross the USA/Canada Border legally to get these. Yes, I can get these online, although a shipping fee has to be paid on my end while I’m shopping online for them.

Both Kwikset and Weiser have a subseries/backers called “Safe Lock”. They call it “The affordable door hardware solution for your single-family or multifamily home”.

Schlage (North America): This brand is really common throughout North America, although Canada has some exclusive knobs there. Yes, I can get the ones from Canada online, although a shipping fee has to be paid on my end while I’m shopping online for them.

Schlage has several subseries/backers, such are called: “Essentials”, “Dexter”, “Home Front” and the now defunct subseries/backer “First Secure”

Electrical

Eaton: These are commonly found in most hardware stores.

Legrand, North America: These are rarely found in some hardware stores.

Leviton: Just like Eaton, these are commonly found in most hardware stores.

Stores:

WE DO NOT SHOP FROM HARBOR FREIGHT. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY FOR US (THEIR ADS LIE).

We try to shop True Value stores/Valu Home Centers where there’s any available, but it’s getting impossible to do so since they’re getting harder and harder to find, due to them going out of business.

Lowe’s (USA): They have quality products that we use for the job.

Rona/Rona+ (Canada): Just like Lowe’s, they have quality products that we use for the job, the only difference is they sell the Weiser/Weiser Lock brand there instead of Kwikset.

The Home Depot: Same thing with Lowe’s.

H.E.P. Sales: I used to work there, and let me tell you, they have everything.

Home Hardware (Canada): Certain Home Hardware stores carry hard-to-find Weiser/Weiser Lock knobs, levers and deadbolts. They will carry Weiser’s subseries/backers “Safe Lock” and Schlage’s subseries/backers “Dexter”.
